From the Bride (when asked how many and what types of DIY she completed for her wedding): As many as I could! We started with making the invitations, then the favors, I hand-painted champagne glasses, made hangers for the bridesmaids that said “Bridesmaid” on them, sewed satin flower sashes for the bridesmaids dresses, decorated wooden birds for the cake toppers, re-painted thrift store frames for the frame table display and hanging frame display, printed seating charts on a reclaimed barn window and door, wood-burned birch bark tubes for the centerpieces, decoupaged picture frames for the fathers, printed reserved signs for the ceremony, collected and decorated glass jars from whatever food items we used, constructed wooden signs for the ceremony, reception, bar and head table, recorded songs for the Daddy-Daughter dances and arranged all of the flowers for the wedding. It was SO MUCH FUN and I wish I could do it every day of my life!
